- Pioneering event: Foiling Week is the first event in the world entirely dedicated to foiling boats, welcoming designers and builders since its inception in Malcesine in 2014. It serves as the premiere global platform for showcasing advancements in foil technology and design. FOILING WEEK™ enjoys the patronage of World Sailing, the International Federation member of the Olympic Committee. In 2021, World Sailing awarded Foiling Week the status of “Special Event,” placing it on par with what Grand Slam tournaments represent for tennis.
- More than just racing: Even though the event hosts many races for different boat classes such as Moth, WASZP, X-15 WINDFOIL, BIRDYFISH, SWITCH ONE DESIGN, and of course the ETF26 series, Foiling Week is also a comprehensive event that includes conferences, boat tests, foil classes, forums, and various side events.
