As the sun set on the picturesque shores of Mar Menor, the ETF26 Series concluded its highly anticipated event with an awards ceremony. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as teams gathered to celebrate the top performers of the event and reflect on the intense competition that unfolded on the water.
Among the highlights of the ceremony were the awards presented to the winners of each day of racing. Entreprises du Morbihan claimed victory on Days 1 and 2, showcasing their consistency and skill in the face of fierce competition. Day 3 saw Rockwool Racing Team 1 emerge victorious, while Rockwool Racing Team 2 secured the top spot on Day 4. Additionally, Rockwool Racing Team 2 claimed victory in the Coastal Race, demonstrating their versatility and tactical prowess on the water.
vHowever, the ultimate moment of the event, the grand prize, went to Entreprises du Morbihan. The winner of last year’s season outstanding performance throughout the event earned them a total of 25 points, securing their position as the overall winners. Following closely behind were the Danish contingent of Rockwool Racing Team 1 with 36 points, and the British representatives of Toroa Racing Team with 50 points.
As the event drew to a close, anticipation for the rest of the season reached new heights. While the competition at Mar Menor was intense, it was just the beginning of what promises to be an extraordinary season. With the fleet gearing up for the next event, GP FOILING HYERES, starting on May 22nd, excitement is palpable as teams prepare to once again take to the water and continue the battle for supremacy.
