For the third year in a row, Entreprises du Morbihan has been crowned ETF26 SERIES Champion, cementing its status as the benchmark team of the circuit.
The French crew, led by Matthieu Salomon, once again proved its consistency, composure, and excellence across one of the most competitive seasons in ETF26 history.

Consistency and control: the marks of champions

The 2025 season unfolded over five events : from Quiberon to Mar Menor  with fierce rivalries between Entreprises du Morbihan, Blueshift Sailing Team, and K-Challenge Blue.
Every regatta delivered its share of surprises, with three different event winners and margins often decided by just a few points.

But in the end, the French powerhouse stayed true to its hallmark precision and teamwork, securing enough podium finishes to claim the overall crown with 9 points, ahead of Blueshift Sailing Team and K-Challenge Blue (both with 11 points).

“We came here for this, and we fought for it all season long,” said Matthieu Salomon, visibly proud after sealing the title in Mar Menor.
“There were so many different leaders this year , it shows how high the level has become. Winning a third consecutive title is just incredible.”

    A new technological chapter

This final event of the year also marked the introduction of the new ETF26 foils , a long-awaited development that allowed the boats to fly upwind and take off in lighter winds.

“It was clearly a light-wind regatta this week,” explained Salomon.
“With the old foils, we probably wouldn’t have flown. But now, we can race in very light air , it’s a real revolution for the class. These new foils give us so much more range and control.”

This new technology brought a fresh dynamic to the racing, rewarding adaptability and finesse, qualities that have long defined Entreprises du Morbihan’s style.

Three-time champions — and still hungry

Throughout the season, Salomon and his crew demonstrated what makes them stand out:
discipline, precise communication, and an instinctive understanding of the boat’s behavior.

“We know the circuit is evolving fast — every team is improving, and the level is getting tighter each year,” said Salomon.
“To win now, you can’t afford a single mistake. You have to be consistent, make the right calls, and stay calm even when things get chaotic. That’s what we tried to do.”

The 2025 season will be remembered as one of the most intense and competitive in ETF26 history, and with the arrival of the new foils, the challenge has only just begun.

As Salomon concluded with a smile:

“We’re thrilled with this result — but trust me, we’re already thinking about the next one.”
